Well, reports cards are coming out next week and we have hit the half-way point to the year! It has both flew by and dragged-on some-how.
Anyway, here is what the coming week will look like:
Gr. 6 Math: We are going to continue playing with transformations. We will review reflections and practice incorporating combinations of translations and reflections. Hopefully, we will also get to rotations by the end of the week. We will have a quiz on Friday for students to show how well they know their stuff!
Gr. 6 Science: We will be wrapping up our Sky Science unit by working on a Constellations Project. We will have the Unit Test on Thursday. Next up, we will be learning about Air and Aerodynamics!
Gr. 7 Math: We are going to continue playing with transformations. We will review reflections and practice incorporating combinations of translations and reflections. Gr. 7 Science: The Plants unit is coming to an end and students are finishing things off with their terminology assignment. The unit test will be on Thursday. Next, we will be studying Heat and Temperature.
Gr. 8 Life Skills: This week, I want to spend less time teaching at the front and return to our favorite type of learning, group research projects! We will study healthy relationships and look into what traits we prefer and which we dislike. I am sure we will have some good laughs during this project!
