Here is a quick summary of what we are learning this week!
Gr.6 Math - Now that Transformations is wrapped up, we are moving on to Order of Operations. Students will be learning about BEDMAS/PEDMAS and GEMS (A simplified acronym).
Gr.6 Science - This will be week 2 of our Egg Drop Project. This week, students will get new materials to construct another new prototype. We will test again on Thursday.
Gr.7 Math - We will start our next unit on Adding and Subtracting Integers.
Gr.7 Science - Students will review Chapters 1 and 2 through a mini-assignment and have a quiz on Thursday.
Gr.8 Life Skills - For the next 2-3weeks we will be completing our Human Sexuality unit. Students who are not participating in this unit, will be completing a passion project of their choosing.
