I have decided to post all daily plans here and use Google Classroom as the location for materials and assignments.
Here is today's plan:
Day C
Science 7 - A brief talk about organism project and things to follow. Glossary projects are also due thru submission on Google Classroom.
Math 7 - Today's class will be set up for more preparation for Tuesday's Unit Test (on Converting Fractions, Decimals, Percentages). The Pixel project is also due and I will be handing back those that I have marked.
Homework: Questions 1-20 Simplifying fractions and finding their decimal (first 2 digits only).
We will also mark yesterday's sheet and start a new one. The greatest challenge I saw yesterday was simplifying fractions and using long division where necessary, so that is what we will focus on today.
Life Skill 8 - As this will be a short class, students will use this time to draw their character for their Empathy project. A Empathy journal sheet will also be handed out.
Homework: Empathy Journal and Character Study due on Monday.
Science 6 - We will review yesterday's two sheets on food chains and tree cookies. We will use the rest of the time to prepare for the Math unit test on Monday.
Math 6 - We will mark our word problem sheets that find greatest common factors and least common multiples. The remainder of the time will be spent reviewing integers.
Homework: Integers worksheet due Monday.
