Just like last week, we have another short week for students!
We have a lunch dismissal day on Thursday and no school Friday due to Student Learning Conference. I hope I get a chance to chat with as many parents as possible. I found the past interviews very helpful in ensuring students were challenged and also having fun.
Gr.6 Math: This week, we will finish a small diagonal reflection assignment, then learn about rotations.
Homework: Diagonal Reflections Assignment.
Gr.6 Science: We will be reviewing the different types of variables and exploring more properties of air.
Gr.7 Math: This week, we will finish a small diagonal reflection assignment, then learn about rotations.
Homework: Diagonal Reflections Assignment.
Gr. 7 Science: Since it is a short week, I would like to use this week to research some key scientist in the history of Thermodynamics.
Here are some great photos from last week:
Gr. 8 Life Skills: As we learnt a tiny bit about black history, mixed with healthy relationship projects, I hope that this week will go well discussing microaggressions. This is a prevalent problem at Tom Baines and I have witnessed these kind of comments on a weekly basis within our class.
Stay healthy my friends,
Mr.Moir
